“A good machine, but only if you have really big feet! If not then you have to make a few adjustments. I’ve had to stick pieces of wood at the bottom of the foot plate to push my feet up. They still slip out, but I manage to hold them there rather than the straps holding them there. It looks stylish, folds compact for storage and has smooth rowing motion. I live in flat and storage space and noise were big factors and this machine is really quiet.  The fitness test and pulse sensors were great for me too as I could pay close attention to what my body way doing and how much I was improving. Our research suggests that this rowing machine is a vast improvement on the original i-rower. Reebok have wisely got rid of the fan and replaced it with magnetic resistance which makes it much quieter to use. A very smooth and comfortable rowing action and lots of feedback from the display monitor. An added bonus is the heart rate monitor and the fitness test – a very stylish rowing machine with a reasonable price tag.

Our research suggests that the York R510 is ideal for an all over body work out. It lets you row as well as perform a series of upper body exercises like biceps curls and shoulder shrugs. Our research suggests that this is a good all round rowing machine for the money with lots of feedback from the 5-function monitor, added comfort with the deep padded seat and a simple to use design. It has a smooth rowing motion and its chip-resistant frame will keep it looking good for longer. You can’t really argue for the money you are paying.
