“The waterrower is unlike most other rowing machines in that it is very handsome to look at. It’s going to sit in your living room (or where ever) and the wooden finish and design make it much easier on the eye than the usual lots of metal and white plastic.
The waterrower is also very different in that you’re not pulling against cogs or chains, but a tub of water. So the action is *very* smooth, and the sound is very pleasant. Our research suggests that this is an excellent addition to the WaterRower rowing machines. Designed with Ashwood from replenished forests, it’s probably the only rower that is friendly to the envrionment whilst giving you one of the smoothest and quietest rowing actions available. When assembling you must be sure to carefully position the footpads before tightening and ensure the foot starps will be in the right place for people using the rower. The monitor gives you less feedback than the S4 monitor but does include the addition of quickstart on most programs. The A1 waterrower has stripped away any complications and unnecessary functions and is purely about rowing. Aimed at any age, sex or ability the WaterRower gives you the true feeling of gliding through water.
